So many movie adaptations of TV shows. 
So many awful results.
Banking on nostalgia, familiarity and a desire to make a quick buck, many of those stories aren’t worthy of our time. 
But, there are exceptions. Some from beloved TV shows that were shepherded by the right writers and directors. Others where a very average program was transformed into something great.
