I normally love a meandering plotless film but this one is very meandering and very plotless and I feel lied to that it was sold to me as as a comedy. Shout out to Steve Buscemi for just being him.

Had some real potential and unfortunately went downhill but if you want to watching something fun and stupid in lockdown you could do worse.

The acting was good, the soundtrack was bizarre and the flashbacks seemed unnecessary.

The film is pretty enough however the logistics of the film drove me nuts. Gael Garcia Bernal’s character is the most fun and we barely get to see him. The fact she ends up with that milquetoast man rather than him is astounding. Of course he’s always working he’s opening a new restaurant in six weeks- also getting married around the same time.

It’s no St. Trinian’s but always appreciate a boarding school tale. Bonus points for Natasha Richardson in a pantsuit - truly fantastic.

Given how long the raincoat has stayed in the zeitgeist, I definitely anticipated it getting more screen time.

Already over it, but less problematic than many romcoms from the early noughties

No quite sure how this film said so little in the length it took up- could have been distilled down to 20 mins and pretty much nothing would have been missed. Ironically for a movie about the one member of the royal family who had emotional connections to the public, this film achieved none.

This could have been twice as long and I would have still been enthralled. Insanely interesting even given the number of old white men talking.

I love a good bad Christmas movie and this almost ruined them for me. The only reason it gets a half star is that- despite at times seeming like copaganda- opening credit scene especially - the nepotism, unprofessionalism, and incompetence of the police force really are a great ment for their defunding.

Interesting socio look at East through intimate portraits of German women

What a true joy- hating on men, hating on capitalism- all the while there are some truly amazing outfits. Plus Lily Tonkin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton are are huge babes so we love that too

It’s fine

Absolutely phenomenal- truly innovative- really can’t be described must just be watched- still tense up thinking about the way you feel like your mind has been invaded.

Highly highly recommend. Definitely one of my favourite Christmas films of all time. Have seen it far too many times to be okay and will 100% watch it again. This film demonstrates the number tropes that I expect of all Hallmark style Christmas romance movies (although this obviously not a Hallmark production since they actually allow a couple queer ing characters), although most fall short, this one goes above and beyond. The timeline makes no sense, nor do the relationships or anyones reactions to pretty much anything. It is truly remarkable how bad the script writing is. Characters like Aunt Olivia and Sharl make you wonder if a bot wrote this film. It truly is a masterwork- buckle up and watch it. Oh and ps Joey Fatone from NSYNC graces us with his presence.
