beautiful film, heartbreaking and hilarious. Can’t think of a film with sharper, wittier dialogue. Makes you wish you’d been alive for the 60s.

Went into this with v.high expectations. A fascinating study of grief and male connection, but laughs don’t really land and Jesse Eisenberg plays the twitchy introvert yet again. Has some beautiful moments (the dinner scene and final shot come to mind) but didn’t have the sharp dialogue and irreverent humour I was hoping for.
