I was really rooting for this one, and every time it started to feel like it was picking up, it went back to repetitive and sort of empty. The nonlinear storyline sort of stunted the emotional impact that would’ve immensely helped when you feel the pacing, and neither the villains nor the protagonists felt developed, making it difficult to care about anything or feel much tension at all. I can commend the use of music, some really good visuals and cinematography, and the performances are all serviceable enough, but a movie that’s all technically there can only get you so far if there’s not much heart.

Dude is literally cheating on his wife and being a creep watching a sex tape of an ex and has the audacity to get mad at her when an ex of hers from 10 years ago is just existing in the same town as them again? Ain’t no way.

This movie is so genuinely funny I don’t understand the hate 🖐🏻😔
