Life changing
LFF #5
Approaching the film festival, Grand Theft Hamlet was one of my most anticipated films because I really really loved the concept. One of my other favourite films We Met in Virtual Reality is also filmed entirely in the digital world it is about, it’s very inspiring to see the different ways films can be made now with the help (and hinderances) technology. You can imagine then, my dismay when I wasn’t able to get tickets during pre sale booking, but…

When they ask me where I was election night, I will tell them I saw Grand Theft Hamlet. So so funny and shockingly beautiful, for a game that’s almost 15 years old I was surprised how beautiful it could be at times. I found it to be such a fascinating look at how these online spaces can connect us, and I also found it really powerful how the artifice can crack, and the people behind it and their struggles can be seen. So creative and fascinating.
I also accidentally sat next to Jeremy! That was very cool!
