i feel that some of the five star ratings here are just people trying to fit in the “snobbism” of movie watchers and just afraid of being censored of saying something contrary to the well known fame of this movie being a masterpiece

on a technical level this movie is boss. colors, composition, camera movement, music. we can clearly see solid foundations for the rest of cinema history and a lot to learn about how to visually tell a story…
