I did it.
I watched Bullet Ballet, every day throughout April. Not sure if that speaks more about the film's quality or my autism, but in any case, this has been quite a ride. If you've followed me here for a while, you probably noticed that I tag films which include vomit. On one hand, this functions as a trigger warning for those who suffer from emetophobia, but it's more of a personal reminder since I'm (for lack of a better word) fascinated by vomit. Whether it's the nonstop flow in Gerorisuto (1986) or the eerie slow-motion shot in Disgraced Heaven (2017), when depicted in film, vomit has a strangely cathartic effect on me.…
I don't who I first heard this from, but I always remind people that either you work to live or live to work. I'm in the camp of working to live, since engaging with my interests and talking with my loved ones is what gives me life outside of work, while my boss said that she lives to work due to the situation she has ended up in.

A nice idea to show people with intellectual disabilities in love and getting kids as a way of humanizing and challenging prejudice through representation, but a lot of the writing boiled down to the same "neurodivergent traits of social awkwardness as a tool for quirky indie humor" schtick that Simple Simon (2010) used, except now they actually bothered to cast people with intellectual disabilities. Again, nice idea, but it deserved more than this.
(Edit: Karsten can make all the films he want, doesn't mean everyone has to like them though. Also you should read this review, good stuff.)
Guys, Karsten won't give you attention just because you praise his self-indulgent regurgitation of quirky indie humor. If anything, it's just funny that someone who typically demands films to "have a point" would make something this arbitrary and shallow.
