Very sad that this didn’t live up to being anywhere near as good as I ed it being. Clearly 8-year-old me wasn’t a cinephile.

The absence of so many potential HSM cameos is APPALLING

‪Underwhelmed by Hope Gap. Clunky script, lukewarm direction, and quite cliched. Josh O’Connor gives the best performance, though Bill Nighy gives a very good...Bill Nighy. It’s occasionally funny, and definitely touching, but those alone do not make for a compelling watch.
