"Fully Political" – a selection curated by Filmfest Dresden, one of the leading short film festivals – will be screened at the Goethe-Institut Ankara between May 23–29, 2025. Filmfest Dresden, which recently brought together short filmmakers from all over the world for the 37th time, first took place in 1989.

Highlighting how our everyday lives are shaped by political decisions – from the time we wake up, to the hours we spend in traffic, from the number of parks in our cities to the accessibility of healthcare – the "Fully Political" program sheds light on the deeply political nature of the ordinary. Anne Gaschütz, the festival director, will be present for a screening introduction and a Q&A session. The program features five short films.
