Kind of a weird one, as I’m not quite sure what to make of the seemingly triumphant ending for the lead character. I suppose the triumph lies in the lead character’s notoriety after the blood bath, something he appeared to have felt was morally righteous. That’s interesting I guess, more funny than anything. Very entertaining, and some great scenery accompanied with a smooth jazz soundtrack. The lead is insane, and the character development was very interesting, yet feeling almost kinda…

This is a comfort movie for me through and through. One of my favourite tv series growing up, and I recall loving this when it came out and aired on YTV and Cartoon Network. The fact that Robin and Starfire actually sealed the deal in a kids/teens show esque way is hilarious. This is one of those films I could rewatch anytime.
