I cannot believe it’s been a year since this staggering achievement in filmmaking was released in theaters. It’s hard to believe Villeneuve will be able to top this one, but I’d love to see it happen. And I’m sorry, but Timothée Chalamet’s performance here was so much better than his performance in A Complete Unknown (2024). You cannot convince me otherwise.
I was so indoctrinated into Star Wars fandom as a kid that I cannot watch the end of this movie without thinking, “Begun, the Clone Wars has.”
