Clan vs clan, a lot of flying around, internal bleeding and a helping of oversexed minions.

This is a complete mess, but in its extravaganza it still manages to entertain somewhat. It is full of Black Eagle Flower Powder and Grey Haired Miracle Sword carrying carrying Old Green Bat Masters fighting against Dark Spirit Dog disciples using Blue Moon Rising Stance or something. Don't try to make sense of it, it is hopeless. Focus on the set pieces which are mostly just the right amount of silly. There is just nothing coherent in-between to give them weight.

Kind of fitting that the ending is a set up to a sequel that never happened. Who knows what awaits in the capital?

edit: Turns out this is based on a (in China) widely popular novel series, so it kind of makes sense it doesn't bother explaining much to its intended audience. Audio commentary helps deciphering it a bit.
