Balls-to-the-wall and stupid in a really fun way. Perhaps leans into scares and action the best, while the romantic subplot gets an infuriating and meandering plotline which somehow works.

Dulled down from the first movie, with a more serious tone and diminished style. That works in certain moments, but I missed the camp of the first movie in providing levity to the whirlwind, silly plot.

The best musical of all time.
