"You programmed me to murder someone, Josh. It's really hard to come back from that."

Much like The French Dispatch, I can see what Wes Anderson is trying to do here, but it doesn't reach the heights he's capable of. Probably doesn't help that his most recent film, Asteroid City, is maybe my favorite of his films.
Benicio Del Toro (great) is the clear lead of this movie, and the rest of Anderson's troupe mostly bit players. I think Anderson's best movies (Grand Budapest, Asteroid, Tenenebaums, Moonrise Kingdom) are ensemble pieces that give more depth to every character, rather than leaving most characters as caricatures, too loosely fleshed out to hold your attention.
