I’ve been looking forward to this movie since its first trailer, and the wait was worth it! The visuals instantly drew me in, but the performances, specifically Sydney Sweeney’s, and story kept me invested until the end. The aesthetic is perfect, and I love how much the era and setting are both utilized. I appreciate the horror sequences and jump scares here too. Lots of moments felt very reminiscent of Rosemary’s Baby in the best ways. The final act took me by complete surprise, not to mention the final shot!
Very pleasantly surprised overall, and I hope Sydney Sweeney continues to do more with the horror genre!
