We see the same events from different characters perspective. -
Uh, interesting, so each time we learn more about these scenes and what actually transpired? -
Not really, the changes are minimal and inconsequential. We basically just have to sit through everything twice or thrice.

Zulawski's closest to a romantic comedy. Sublime performances by Marceau and Dutronc. Their energy is affecting and makes you root for them even if their romance is doomed and clearly unhealthy. They portray their emotions as if larger than life and completely unfamiliar and feel almost innocent and clumsy while doing so. This innocence further leads to them falling into the patterns and behaviours of their parents, repeating their parents unhealthy role models, culminating in this romance being doomed irrespective…
