Exactly the cromulent early/mid 2000's style film you probably think it is.

This one was definitely my favorite of them so far. Not actually about vampires, but rather ghosts. Still rocks. Felt like they took all of the successful horror-comedy elements are turned them up for this one. The humor works well here, there's great kung fu and stunts, and some really fun effects. Spent the entire time completely unable to predict where it would go next and loving it. The opening sequence is followed up by a large-scale and wonderfully choreographed…
By far the stupidest one yet. Incompetent on so many levels. Should have just been a cat and mouse game with Hoffman on the run. Instead its a bunch of saw traps that don't play into the plot (the first two of the movie), a complete bullshit reprisal of Dr. Gordon, and a series of saw traps revolving around a character that doesn't matter and didn't exist until this movie. Thumbs down.
