I'd normally applaud the "fuck it" nature of a sequel willing to burn down the original, but this movie feels condescending and doesn't even make its point in a clever/insightful way. "Relating to Joker is dumb" I mean yeah? But also people liked the first for that exact reason. Lots of finger wagging here. But the cardinal sin: it's boring. Baggy script, lots of repeated exposition. If you're gonna give us a middle finger, at least have fun with it.
