The 2025 Cult Movie Challenge
Week 22: Chow Yun-fat Week

An unrelenting fusion of stylish chaos and operatic violence. Full has ferocious energy that more than makes up for any gaps in plotting.

From barroom brawls to warehouse shootouts, to car chases- there's a ton of each. A hyper-stylized bullet ballet soaked in excess. Ringo Lam dials everything up to eleven: handheld camerawork swirls through chaos and there’s even a POV bullet shot years before Wanted made it trendy.

Full is pure adrenaline. It’s less about narrative clarity and more about energy. It’s chaotic, violent, and proudly excessive.

Hearing Iron Maiden's "Flash of the Blade" while seeing a flash of a blade was greatly satisfying.

Standard Argento fanfare to be found here. His incredible scores, beautiful lighting, and that climax was something else. Absolutely wild.
