51. Watch An Action Film Featuring A Car Chase

Not much excites me more than a classic era American car chase film. The Driver has instantly shot up to my favorite picture from Walter Hill.

It's not flashy like Gone in 60 Seconds and Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry- has more in common with a classic western. Hill manages to capture the pacing of a western and character traits of a cowboy within the crime genre. Low energy badassery and plenty of long stares, The Driver has a patient style that I loved. This one had to be a big influence to both Drive and Baby Driver.
