Unbelievable that Hackman was in his 70s and still delivers such a charismatic performance. There are definitely moments where he's not at full speed, but that's only because when he's on, oh man is he on. His stage presence is on another level. A young Sam Rockwell and fittingly cartoonish Danny DeVito really give Hackman the fencing partners he needs to accelerate a film like Heist away from forgettability.
