▪︎Highly enjoyed the hell out of this and really ired the heartbreaking twisted dark take by Director Emilie Blichfeldt on the legendary Cinderella story with a different physiological horror perspective from the evil stepsister. The cinematography by Marcel Zyskind is Mesmerizing bringing a suffocating cold atmosphere that will haunt the mind. A Great cast all around with at the lead A downright Astonishing fearless powerhouse performance by Lea Myren !! She is F***ing Awesome and F***ing murders this role !!

Believe the Hype ! Ryan Coogler is a one of a kind filmmaker and Sinners is a one of kind film. Artfully takes its time giving honoring roses to horror classics like Dusk till dawn, The Thing, Near Dark and so many more but also displaying cooglers originality visonary voice. Michael B. Jordan smoothest performances to date, cinematography by Autumn Durald Arkapaw is gorgeous with one scene in particular that she went absolutely god mode and The flawless music score by Ludwig Göransson is the core hitting soul of the film. A Expertly crafted film that I literally just booked a ticket 🎟 to go see again tomorrow 🤘🏻❤️🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸 Obviously my Score is GO SEE THIS F***ING FILM !!!! 🤘🏻😈

Director Oz Perkins created a film that was easy for me to fall in love with. It feels like he was able to take everything that I love in a psychological crime horror film and beautifully crafted it into 'LONGLEGS'. Nicolas Cage delivers a demented haunting performance that will send chills to the core of your soul. He delivers his chaotic twisted character in peak epic Nic Cage fashion being everything I wanted and more!! Maika Monroe is exceptional, giving an elite career best showing. She delivers a character that is complex-fragile, disturbed and badass. She is relentlessly brilliant in every second that she is on screen. In the end Oz Perkins' 'LONGLEGS' is a demented classic for the ages that pulls you into the flames of horror and soaks you in nightmare fuel from beginning to end.

-Academy Award Winning Cinematographer Greig Fraser's Cinematography is at God Level! This is one of the most visually stunning sci-fi films of All-Time, capturing the darkness of Giedi Prime and the dangerous beauty of Arrakis. This is Greig Fraser's best work to-date and I didn't think that was possible given his already phenomenal filmography.

-Hans Zimmer's musical score sures his already masterful work on the 1st DUNE film. The music is a powerful voice in the film that transcends to such an epic level that it leaves goosebumps on your soul

-Jacqueline West is coming back with a Vengeance for that Best Costume Design Oscar. The detail and work put into every costume had me in absolute awe 😍

-The Visual Effects of the film; from the spacecrafts, the sandworm riding, the galactic scale, the ornithopters combat, the action sequences, they are all breathtaking and Jaw-dropping on a God Tier level. I've never seen anything like it. A truly remarkable technical VFX achievement of a film.

-The Action Choreography is outstanding especially in the hand to hand combat and blade combat sequences as they're are F***ing Brutal and the best I've ever seen.

-Florence Pugh is fantastic as Princess Irulan. Working from the shadows her character is given more of a large role in this Villeneuve adaption; which felt like an upgrade for the character but also keeping faithful elements the Irulan character from the book Blooming to become a strategic political viper from the shadows.

-Rebecca Ferguson continues to be mesmerizing and in some cases down right terrifying as Lady Jessica giving another brilliant haunting performance as the character.

-Zendaya's incredible performance as Chani is one of the phenomenal core pieces of the film. Lethal and badass? Yes, but so many challenges come with the Chani character and she conquers them all. Zendaya has a phenomenal gift as an actress to convey so much raw emotional with just her facial expressions ,with little to no dialogue. She proves every second of screentime why she is one the greatest talents of our time.

-Austin Butler is viciously badass as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen!! He goes completely all in as Feyd-Rautha from the Knife combat training, chilling hair-raising voice, the effortless demonic nature of the character and the results on screen are absolute evil perfection😈 Austin Butler is having the best most dark twisted time of his life playing this character and you can feel every second he's on screen. I wish I could find enough words of praise to articulate just how F***ing Perfect Butler is in this film as Feyd-Rautha !!

-I said it in the first film as it Continues into 'DUNE PART II' and that is Timothée Chalamet is the perfect incarnation of Paul Atreides from novel to the live-action big screen. The emotional juggle that Paul must face with War and Love but also knowing what he will lose along the way following this path is heart hitting and powerful to watch. He Never Seeks to lead but is always called to by a terrifying destiny he can't escape. Seriously, Chalamet is in Top Elite form and just down right exceptional.

-The entire DUNE 2 cast deserve high recognition as you can feel the Dedicational love and drive from everyone involved to make Director Denis Villeneuve's cinematic vison of the film as perfect as it could possibly be.

-The core of the film being the love story of Paul and Chani is executed so perfectly by Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya. They nail everything about their relationship story from the novel that's so pure, heartwarming and heartbreaking.

-The Adapted Screenplay Written by Denis Villeneuve & Jon Spaihts is astonishing! FRANK Herbert's novel contains so much world building, political drama, individual character growth, and internal conflict. This screen play artfully crafts together the elements of the novel and the soul of what makes Frank Herbert' s message and book so special. As with any adaptaion, there will always be deviations from the source material but the film stays true to the core ideas and soul of what makes Frank Herbert's Novel so special

-This is not a beat for beat adaption of the book but a flawless cinematic adaption of Frank Herberts Novel.

-'DUNE II' is the Rare Joyful heart hitting reminder of why I love movies so F***ing much. A Theatrical Marvel and A Must-see film on the biggest & loudest IMAX screen possible.

-Not only one of the greatest sequels of All-Time but one of the greatest Sci-fi films to grace the cinematic screen !! An Astonishing Cinematic Achievement by Denis Villeneuve.

-Like I said it with 'DUNE: PART I' - and it needs to be clarified again Director Denis Villeneuve continues to be the most sensational filmmaker of our time. Bringing the pages of Frank Herbert's Novel to life cinematically was deemed impossible but Villeneuve achieves it with masterful filmmaking. Denis Villeneuve not only brings it to life visually but honors the source material, faithfully adaptating the work from page to screen. Every minute feels like a Love letter to Frank Herbert's work and cinema all at the same time. 'DUNE: PART 1' and Now together with 'DUNE: PART 2 ' are a staggering Achievement in Cinema and as a Lifelong fan of the book it is a dream come true.

-The only thing that breaks my heart is that Frank Herbert isn't alive to see this because I think he would have been so proud of this adaption and the brilliant work by Denis Villeneuve in bringing his novel to cinematic life like this.

A blood soaked love letter to the iconic EVIL DEAD creation from the legendary mind of Sam Raimi; while also being infused with fresh DNA that breathes new horrifying life into the franchise, by Director Lee Cronin ! Just A truly great EVIL DEAD film executed with inventive camera work, flawless practical horror effects, beautiful cinematography, perfect relentless pacing, raw action sequences, blood, blood and more blood with so much heart and dedication poured into every frame by Director Lee Cronin. Alyssa Sutherland furiously and fantastically devours every second of her screen time. There's truly nothing like Evil Dead and as a life long EVIL DEAD fanatic I can't find enough words of praise to how much I loved this film !! Thank you Director Lee Cronin and F***ing Bravo sir you've created something truly special ! 🤘🩸

David Bruckner; Director of strong Horror Films like "THE NIGHT HOUSE", "THE RITUAL" and one of my top favorite short stories "Amateur Night" (from 2012 horror Anthology Film 'VHS'), returns to the Director's seat for his vison of the classic Horror HELLRAISER!!! First off, I was absolutely in love with the Cenobites designs ! The grotesque but twisted beauty, also terrifying detail put into each one of them by Josh & Sierra Russell (RUSSELLFX) was spectacular as you felt the heart poured into their designs. Overall the practical horror effects were brutally executed and the set pieces were honorably well done. From the crackling tears of blue light and shape-shifting of the rooms you felt the nightmarish spiritual magic of the original. Through the entire film you could visually see & feel the tributes payed to Clive Barker's iconic horror creation. Now, the major flaw of the Film is the characters. Weather it be character development, motivation, performance, dialogue or actions -every character I found to be insufferable to the point I wanted them all to Perish finding myself rooting for the Cenobites. In the end, beside the weakness of not liking any of the characters I still really enjoyed the movie as I never found it disrespectful or dishonorable to Clive Barker's legendary work. Overall, the original 1987 still reigns Supreme overall cinematically but Director David Bruckner still executes a satisfactory reimagining.

Academy Award Winning Director Guillermo del Toro returns, with his own ,stop-motion animation, visonary take on the legendary story of PINOCCHIO!! A rare remake that respectfully sures the original material by Author Carlo Collodi in every way. PINOCCHIO is a dark but poetically beautiful re-telling from Del Toro’s visonary mind on the cherishment of life, the devastation of loss, the inevitable acceptance of death and the power of unbreakable love all hitting like an emotional Nuke bombs. The enchanting musical score (by Alexandre Desplat) and the ionate details of character & set designs all bleed together to give the audience a piece of Guillermo del Toro’s joyful soul. The voice cast is magnificent as all bring such a beautiful Charm, fury, ion, godliness and innocence to each of their characters just from the powers of their voices (also of course combined with the beautiful animation). The stop-motion animation is flawlessly jawdropping and masterfully crafted in execution; truly mesmerizing artistry to watch and undoubtedly the best I've ever seen. Finally, the tremendous power hit and overall achievement of this film is that it transcends beyond being a stop-motion Animation but being one of the greatest films of 2022 that deserves a Best Picture Nomination from the Academy come award season ! Overall, PINOCCHIO is another triumphant cinematic masterpiece by Guillermo del Toro ranking alongside PAN'S LABYRINTH and THE SHAPE OF WATER that is guaranteed to leave a smile on your heart.

Coming off the the kickass film 'THE OLD GUARD', Director Gina Prince-Bythewood returns with THE WOMAN KING!!! Taking place in the 1800s, a group of all-female Agojie warriors protect the African kingdom of Dahomey with deadly combat skills and fierceness unlike anything the world has ever seen. Facing a new threatening enemy, General Nanisca (Viola Davis) trains the next generation of new recruits to stand against the foreign enemy that seeks to destroy their way of life. Led by the powerful performance of the great Viola Davis; the entire ing cast of Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, Sheila Atim and John Boyega are all outstanding, bringing their own charm, ferocity and emotional depth to their characters. The movie does a great job of grabbing you from the start; as you the audience, feel like you're the character Nawi (Thuso Mbedu) who's journey experiences for the 1st time in learning the history, steps and stages of what one must go through and achieve to earn the right to be called an Agojie Warrior. Along with that, and beautifully blended is the story of General Nanisca (Viola Davis) who battles within herself the horrific tragedies and sins of her past. The combat choreography is top notch ! To add to that, the entire cast looks physically phenomenal! Alot of dedication & historical respect went into the physicality of playing the Agojie Warriors. The characters on screen physical presence was felt. Another thing I ired about this movie was how Director Gina Prince-Bythewood tip toes on the line of Rated R but creatively shoots violence sequences that remain PG-13 but the brutality hit to the viewer isn’t compromised one bit. The only minor flaw of the movie is in the middle act the pacing slows down a bit narrativly dragging on scenes that I felt could have been cut but once past that the movie quickly recaptures it's momentum all the way into a great final act. Overall, THE WOMAN KING is a best of the year film delivering it all with engaging historical drama, great characters, sharp badass action and multiple powerful performances that left me so incredibly excited for what Director Gina Prince-Bythewood does next !!!

Director Martin McDonagh brings the 'IN BRUGE' reuniting of Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farell in 'THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN' ! Their latest film takes place on Inisherin a island, off the coast of Ireland, where we find Pádraic Súilleabháin (Colin Farrell), who is devastated when his longtime friend Colm Doherty (Brendan Gleeson) suddenly ends their lifelong friendship. With help from Padraic's sister Siobhán Súilleabháin (Kerry Condon) and young islander Dominic Kearney (Barry Keoghan) they set out to repair the damaged relationship by any means necessary. However, Colm hits back with a ultimatum that has shocking consequences. The film is perfectly edited and executes everything that needs to be said without wasting not one single second in its hour and 49 minute runtime. The on location landscapes and cinematography by Ben Davis breathtakingly captures both the beauty and coldness of Inisherin, helping elevate the atmospheric tone of scenes. Director Martin McDonagh achieves in the challenge of poetically infusing loneliness, love, self evolution, broken friendship, life, tragedy and heartbreak into one of the most brilliantly crafted screenplays of 2022 ! The dark comedy is sharp in execution, the emotional moments are hard hitting and the twisted dark moments hit their mark home. Director Martin McDonagh is in absolute prime form! Also, McDonagh's ability as a Director to get the absolute best performances out of his actors is an amazing gift as a filmmaker; as Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan all execute Oscar Winning level performances! Seriously, I'm not joking one bit when I say all of them deserve Oscar Nominations because all are in top elite form furiously earning every second of their screen time. Now, with all that praise I want to give a additional honorary shoutout to Colin Farrell ! I can't find the justifiable words to explain how remarkable he is in this film. Farrell's phenomenal talented ability to say so much with just his facial expressions without uttering a word is nothing short of magnificent to watch. It's a absolute crime this man doesn't have multiple Oscars Wins under his belt because we are truly watching one of the greatest actors of our time ! Overall, Martin McDonagh's THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN on every level sured my high expectations and I absolutely cherished every second of this film as it undoubtlessly ranks among the very top most exceptional films 2022 has to offer. My Movie Loving soul is racing in anticipation to watch it again and again !

The 2022 Fantastic Horror movies streak continues, with Director Parker Finn's 'SMILE' !! The movie follows the lead character Dr. Rose Cotter played by Sosie Bacon; who, after witnessing a traumatic incident, involving the suicide of one of her patient, starts experiencing frightening occurrences and is haunted by a presence that can't be explained. With great creative weapons in the use of lighting, scene settings, sound effects, darkness and scene transitions Parker Finn cleverly crafts & sharply executes constant awesome jumpscares throughout the film. To add to the jumpscare executions- the editing is a huge credit as well because from the opening minute to the final act the horror scares are placed perfectly timed so that the film never loses its engaging pace. Also, I really ired the script as it was the underrated jewel of the film in not only dealing with the present horrors the Rose character faces but goes beyond that by also building depth throughout that shows she must also confront the demons from her troubling past. Sosie Bacon delivers such a tremendous performance that It grabs you into her point of view and geniusly makes you yourself question what is reality and what is a mind twisting nightmare. The only minor flaws of the movie is a couple of the side cast ing characters feel miscast and bring performances that aren't corrupting to scenes but unfortunately come off a little dull which if executed better on their end could have really elevated emotional scenes on another level. Overall, Parker Finn's 'SMILE' brings great creative horror heart and is movie ticket 🎟 money well spent !!

Ti West returns for his 2nd installment of the 'X' Horror Trilogy, with the prequel origin film PEARL!!
We follow Pearl; played by the Returning Mia Goth, in 1918 Texas, during the height of the Spanish Flu pandemic and World War I. Pearl is a young woman living with her German immigrant parents on their homestead, in the absence of her husband, Howard, who is serving overseas. Pearl, lonely, prone to whimsy and longing for a more exciting life, is captivated by the films she sees at the local cinema and aspires to become a chorus girl. Director Ti West brings a completely different type of horror film compared the previous (X) but also brilliantly crafts them in a way that both films standalone but effortlessly elevate and each other in their details. With this film, West tackles and executes a polished horror character study that felt encased in a bright colored fantasy dreamland, through the eyes of PEARL. Also, again like X, the film feels like a tribute to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. You can feel the horror movie fan love spill from Director Ti West as you felt the nostalgic elements of horror films throughout like CARRIE, MAY and again TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, Love it ! The period accuracy in the set pieces and costume designs looked fantastic but the bright beautiful color pallets had me in absolute love. Seriously, one of the top most visually stunning horror films I've seen. The music score by Tyler Bates & Tim Williams is geniusly blended to match the mental state of the PEARL character. At times the music is joyful and wondrous but when PEARLs mind starts to crack and break it slowly flows into a haunting tone that elevates the unsettling violent atmosphere in scenes. Finally, MIA F***ING GOTH !! Her performance was a ferocious Swinging Axe that had my jaw severed onto the ground ! From her haunting facial expressions, to her perfect chilling one cut scenes of dialogue, to her creepy dance numbers and just her physical work - presence alone had chills going down my spine in multiple moments that I was physically scared stiff of her. Seriously, Mia Goth executes one of the best most mesmerizing performances of not only 2022 but one of the best most unsettling performances I've witnessed since Toni Collette in Ari Aster's HEREDITARY! My God she is so damn good in this ! Mia Goth Without a doubt makes a statement in cementing herself as the Queen of horror of our time ! Overall, Ti West's PEARL definitely has the X factor that easily transcends to my top best horror Films of the 2022 year ! God I Loved this movie !! Bring on MAXXXINE I'm so F***ing Ready !!! 🤘🏻🩸🪓😈

Zach Cregger's BARBARIAN is one of the rare films I went into completely cold -No trailers, first-look photos, cast, plot summary -Nothing ! From the very start you are pulled into this organic dark tunnel of horror madness;while you slowly peel back little details along the way in this wild ride;piecing together what's actually going on. Director Zach Cregger's secret weapon of success in the film is using the darkness to his advantage with little light to expand the horror elements and tension to a high octane level. All of the performances were great especially the leads Georgina Campbell & Justin Long. The films pacing is nearly perfect which naturally blends character development with surprisingly heavy subject matter that deals with the police, justice system, failed economy, neighborhoods and sexual assault. Finally, I highly recommend you Don't watch trailers, don't look up the Synopsis, avoid spoilers and go in cold as I did, you won't regret it ! Overall, I had an absolute blast and sooooooo much fun with Zach Cregger's BARBARIAN, it's one of the best Horror surprises I've had in a long time that adds to the already great 2022 year for horror films. Seriously, what a great year for horror movie fans.

Dragon ball super: Super Hero was hell of alot of fun. To be very Honest I Wasn't a big fan of the new animation style chosen for this Dragon Ball Super film but it wasn't anything dooming for the film. For the future though I hope they don't do it again. The New Android characters of GAMMA 1 and GAMMA 2 were super rad. The tone overall for the movie was Alot more goofy compared to BROLY, BATTLE OF THE GODS and RESURRECTION OF F but it felt old school Dragon Ball roots goofy so I digged it. Gohan and Piccolo fans will be very happy because they are both incredibly badass in this. Finally, make sure to stay till the end because their is a great end credits scene that's a real treat for long time Dragon Ball fans and had me literally laughing out loud. Overall, I still have DRAGON BALL SUPER : BROLY ranked #1 for the best of Super Film's but their still a hell of alot fun to be had with DRAGON BALL SUPER: SUPER HERO for newcomers to the franchise and Hardcore fans 🤘🍿📽🎬🎭🎞

David Leitch,Director of JOHN WICK, DEADPOOL 2 and ATOMIC BLONDE, returns to the Director Helm for his latest work- BULLET TRAIN!!! Right from the opening minute you are hit by a speeding train of crisp action which continues all the way to the end credits. The kills are incredible in their unpredictability and super violent fun; with David Leitch's visual style, feeling like a hyper goofy violent cartoon almost. The overall cast is incredible with elite actors in many of the roles including the leading star Brad Pitt. Coming off his Oscar win, Brad Pitt is really fun with his performance but the editing of the film and writing of the character was kind of a mess. Some scenes try to be funny with the character but felt like they stretched on too long, over staying their welcome. When serious moments of action came the bad placed comedy kinda smothered what could have been a great heart hitting moment. Also to add, without spoilers- there is a scene that happens with Brad Pitt's character that completely ruined everything about this character that you wanted to root for and for the rest of the film I found the character extremely unlikable. For me, personally, Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the twins are the major standouts and the driving force of the movie. These characters have great action, chemistry, and flawless comedic timing with each other. I was begging the film to just be about these two because they're phenomenal!!! Overall, David Leitch's BULLET TRAIN has some bumps on this 2 hour plus train ride; that I don't rank over other action films like a JOHN WICK, ATOMIC BLONDE and NOBODY but I still had alot of fun with it.

Wow!! What a tremendous and astonishing film !! Konidela Ram Charan Teja & Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. have a bromance and a bond of friendship that is beautiful, pure and epically badass !! From crisp iconic Action sequences, powerful emotional moments of Love, Revenge & Hope and flush dance numbers (yes I said dance numbers) these two blew my mind to the point I was yelling in astonishment "Holy Sh** what can't these guys do ?!"
Director Koduri Srisaila Sri Rajamouli's RRR is stunning filmmaking that's visually gorgeous to the eyes with magnificent jawdropping action, real emotional heart, captivating storytelling, powerful musical score soundtrack and undoubtedly one of the top best must-see films of the year that will leave a heartwarming smile on your cinematic soul !!! RRR is a cherished reminder why we love movies !! This is Cinema !! I'm in absolute love !! ❤️

Jordan Peele, Director of "US" and "Get out", returns for his third feature film, "Nope".
First off, Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer are absolutely fantastic together, they bring pure realism to their sibling relationship. They are a blast and so much fun to watch perform together. Jordan Peele masterfully crafts elements of tension and horror while also cleverly playing tricks on the viewers mind. The cinematography by Hoyte Van Hoytema is gorgeous and loved the way he captured the natural landscapes. The musical score by Michael Ables and the sound design does an incredible job of enhancing the sci-fi elements of the film. The special effects were effective being on par with what you would expect and are balanced very well throughout not being overused.

The only flaws in the film are first being in my opinion the pacing- it felt like 15 to 20 minutes could have been edited out. The second and final flaw being the third act reveal- though I found it unique and highly creative, it wasn't very satisfying being a little lackluster in the horror hitting factor given how the first 2 acts build ups were so damn good. That may be my own fault for building it up too much to being something more grander and terrifying in my mind, so take that as you will. Finally, I highly respected and ired how much originality Jordan Peele brought to the film and that he continues to challenge himself and evolve as a filmmaker. Every second of the film feels 100% like Jordan Peele's story telling without studio influence and I love that. Overall, "Nope" wasn't on a home run crafted level as GET OUT, but Jordan Peele still executes and delivers another very solid film to his impressive filmography.

Director Scott Derrickson makes his return to the horror realm with his adaptation of the 2004 short story, by Joe Hill, 'THE BLACK PHONE'📞 .

Right from the opening minute; with the signature use of the film looking like it's being seen through an old projector film strip and the great musical score, you're immediately pulled into the Derrickson horror world. The set and costume designs are fantastic, they give that immediate time jumping feel - like you're really in 1978. A real great gem of the film is the sound editing, especially in the Finney interactions with ghosts of the previous victims. When the ghosts are visually on screen their voices sound like they're still coming through on a phone, helping elevate the haunting factor.

The Great Tom Savini & Jason Baker are in absolute legendary form and bring some of their most iconic work to date, with multiple mask designs throughout the film that are absolutely gorgeous !! The masks have such an unnerving presence every second that your eyes are glued on the screen. I was in absolute love with how truly flawless they all looked !

Ethan Hawke is absolutely spine chilling in his brilliant sinister performance. With 95% of his screen time in the mask, and the challenging restriction that the entire lower half of his face is covered, Ethan Hawke still effortlessly delivers an elite acting performance. The brilliant fear inducing way he speaks so much with his eyes and his unsettling body language, is truly astonishing to watch ! Mason Thames as Finny is so dam good ! The challenging evolution of the character; from fragile minded, to finding his inner bravery, in the film, this kid fantastically meets all the challenges. The Standout of the film is absolutely Madeleine McGraw !!! Holy Sh** this girl is F***ing Incredible!! Her comedic delivery is top level, when she needs to be a badass she hits it out of the park and when the intense moments come she shatters your heart ! Achieving all of this at just 13 years old !! She is nothing short of tremendous! What a talent !

Finally, a big credit goes to the script done by Director Scott Derrickson & C. Robert Cargill. Not only nailing the challenge of turning this short story into a full feature film but also in making it more than just a horror film- it's also a great real human story. Yes, the film has its monster in THE GRABBER but at it's core shows the deep real life monsters or nightmares that some kids face everday in their coming of age story. Some kids face monsters that are in the form of bullys at school or alcoholism in a toxic abusive household. The film emphasizes the strength necessary to fight back against your abs. The only flaw, I have found in the film (though ittedly this may not be a real flaw just credit of wanting more), is that the viewer is left wanting more information on THE GRABBER. However, this could still excitingly lead to a sequal or prequel opportunities.

Overall, Director Scott Derrickson executes one of the most Inventive & unique horror films I've seen since Jordan Peele's GET OUT in his film adaptation Joe Hills Horror short story THE BLACK PHONE !!!

TOP GUN MAVERICK, a sequel 36 years in the making, finally takes flight ! Director Joseph Kosinski and Tom Cruise deliver a rare sequel that sures the original in every category. The aerial combat action is phenomenally executed and unlike anything you've ever seen. Seriously, infused with Oscar Level Sound design and near perfect editing this was some of the most intense Action I've seen since George Miller's Masterpiece MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. Especially the last 20 minutes, my heart was pounding out of my chest and I had the insane transformative feeling like I was locked in right there inside the jets with the characters !! So Badass !! I really enjoyed the chemistry between Tom Cruise & Miles Teller: from the comedic moments, to the intense moments, to the heart hitting moments that really made you feel the emotional history between the two. The cast overall was really solid and found no performances weak.
The mission narrative of the movie is pretty cut and dry with great easy to follow explanations of what's happening on screen,with the jets, that even if you know nothing about flying you're not lost. My standout scene of the film and also the scene that brought tears to my eyes was the final talk between Maverick (Tom Cruise) and Iceman (Val Kilmer). Even with Val Kilmer's real life health problems they respectfully find a way to deliver an awesome heartfelt and deeply emotional scene for the two iconic characters. Finally, Bravo to Director Joseph Kosinski, Tom Cruise and everyone involved you could really feel the ion & heart put into the film by everyone. Overall, Joseph Kosinski's TOP GUN: MAVERICK is a heart driven shock wave of pure badass action that demands and must be seen on the Cinema big screen !! 🤘😎📽🍿🎭🎬🎞

The man responsible for sparking my love for movies; and my most inspirational director of All-Time, Sam Raimi, returns for the Marvel Studios sequel DOCTOR STRANGE: IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS !!! The Horror King -Sam Raimi- hasn't lost a step !!! This film exemplifies Raimi's unique signature; snaking charge of the camera, the chilling 1st person perspective, the intense horror sound effects and the inventive slapstick horror mayhem, my 80's horror loving heart was screaming in happiness !! Raimi breaks new horror ground in the MCU; along with, his masterful ability to bring to life a Comic-Book world right off the pages into the atmosphere of a film is just truly unmatched and something i haven't felt since Raimi's 2000's SPIDER-MAN Films. You felt the spiritual DNA of Raimi's EVIL DEAD & Spider-Man Film's infused with a little of DRAG ME TO HELL.

I loved the return of Danny Elfman ,who delivers a badass metal rock rift score, that elevates the horror ambience of the film. I never found a boring moment as the film takes off from the opening minute like a demon out of hell with the Raimi mayhem never slowing down. The film never felt shackled down like other MCU movies with the must have connections feel but instead felt like fun contained Comic-Book film with a simple straightforward narrative like ARMY OF DARKNESS. The use of magic in the film is excellent in creative execution, it's both badass and brutal, sometimes so brutal it pushes the PG-13 Rating 😈🤘.

Benedict Cumberbatch is in elite form and is just outstanding as Doctor Strange. He tackles the acting challenges of performing multiple different versions of the same person throughout the Multiverse, while also bringing new emotional layers to the main Stephen Strange character. Cumberbatch just continuously proves that he is truly perfect casting as Doctor Stephen Strange. Elizabeth Olsen is absolutely astounding and the best we've ever seen her !! With the combination of Raimi's genius horror elements, Olsen delivers the terror inducing Scarlet Witch I've been waiting for !! She's not only horrifying but heartbreakingly wounded, her story is told in such a way, that it makes you understand her emotional brokenness while her soul is being tourcherd by the dark hold that turns her into a terrifying force to be reckoned with. Seriously, Elizabeth Olsen's powerful haunting presence and amazing delivery sends chills down your spine she’s so scary.

Some of the minor flaws of the film are that past Marvel films have done such a good job making each film feel approachable for all viewers even if its brand new eyeballs, but with this movie I definitely think if you haven't seen 'WANDAVISON' and 'WHAT IF...' series you will be at a loss with certain scenes that are crucial to the identity and in some cases, the motivation of characters. The other flaw being some minor touchy VFX shots and obvious green screen back drops. I only bring up this complaint because these films are made with 180-200 million dollar budgets and in my opinion the films should definitely show that every second.

My standout and absolutely favorite moment in the film was the Resurrection rise of Zombie Strange !!! Holy Shit !! The radical special effect make-up, the moonlight shot on the soulless yellow eyes, the bone twist cracking sound effects as he moved, the creepy swarming of dark souls flying around him and all of it in its badass glory every second on screen had hearts ❤️ spilling from my eyeballs !!

Finally, as a Diehard Raimi fan this film left me with a huge F***ing smile and I pray to the Movie Gods Raimi returns for another one in some fashion. Even though this had a large amount of his creative fingerprints, I hope next time he's allowed to fully unleash and 100% make it his own. Nevertheless, I'm just emotionally over the moon happy for his return to the Director's chair.

Beautifully heartbreaking and a tremendous lead performance by Oscar Isaacs!!! An incredible cold look into depression and the grueling struggle to find ones'identity in life. I'm so mad it took me so long to finally watch this great film. Great editing, beautiful cinematography, perfect dark comedy, awesome sound editing and excellent writing by the Cohen Brothers. INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS ranks in the Top of the Cohen Brothers most polished films to date in their incredible filmography.

One of the most masterfully crafted war films in cinematic history !! An astonishing cinematic achievement all around. The cinematography, set pieces, acting performances, editing, score, and the script are all stunning. The darkness of war is captured so poetically and beautifully; the film itself makes you feel like you're being torn down into the horror of your own madness. Then of course the G.O.A.T Marlon Brando executes some of the best monologoues in the history of cinema. The "Horror has a Face" scene sends haunting chills down your spine and is some of the most phenomenal acting you will ever see !! Francis Ford Coppola APOCALYPSE NOW is magnificent and cinematic triumph of filmmaking 🤘🎞📽🎬🍿

FREE GUY brings entertaining comedy, wacky action, a Ready Player One vibe and a lot of charm. The best word to describe it is - FUN. Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy are a great duo, you can really feel it in the movie that they had a blast making this together. The great Jodie Comer is wonderful as always with the ing cast of Joe Keery & Taika Waititi (who just adds even more enjoyment to the comedy fun). Really, I love cheerful movies like this as they are just great to just kick back and have some laughs. Overall, if you just want to kill a couple of enjoyable hours with some fun laughs then Shawn Levy's FREE GUY is the feel good movie for you. 🤘🤘

Poetic storytelling, timeless cinematography, epic scale set pieces, wonderfully jawdropping crafted costume designs, haunting visuals - all geniusly infused with Japanese culture. Not to mention, a magnificent lead performance by the astonishing Toshiro Mifune !! THRONE OF BLOOD is masterpiece filmmaking, flawlessly executed by Director Akira Kurosawa and one of the greatest Film's in Cinematic History!!

The visionary Filmmaker Robert Eggers; who brought us brilliant films such as THE VVITCH & THE LIGHTHOUSE, makes his exciting return to the Director's chair for his 3rd Film THE NORTHMAN !!! The film follows Prince Amleth (Alexander Skarsgård) who witnesses the betrayal and murder of his father King Aurvandil War-Raven (Ethan Hawke) by the hands of his Uncle Fjölnir (Claes Bang). His uncle then takes control of the Kingdom and Amleth Mother Queen Gudrún (Nicole Kidman). Prince Amleth sets on a path for revenge by swearing the oath "I’m going to avenge you, father. I will save you, mother. I will kill you, Feng."
With a visceral atmosphere and phenomenal visonary detail Robert Eggers creates a blood soaked revenge thriller brilliantly infused with Norse mythology and loosely based off the 13th century story "The Tale of Amleth" by Scholar Saxo Grammaticus (that also inspired the bases for William Shakespeare HAMLET). It's unlike anything you've ever seen !!! The chest pounding war music score by Sebastian Gainsborough & Robin Carolan combined with stunning cinematography by Jarin Blaschke hits the mark in finding both brutality and beauty.
Not unexpectedly, because it's from the great mind of Robert Eggers, but the phenomenal set pieces, period accuracy, and costume designs are all met with phenomenal detail. The buildings, weapons, wood carvings, wardrobes, ships, rituals, poetic dialogue etc. are all geniusly executed in detail that it constantly makes you feel Eggers Visonary Finger prints every second throughout. The incredible overall effect is making you feel you're in a new world- in a past time. The costume design does a great job of feeling grounded and realistic. Even the Norse Gods feel realistic, tho magnificent and still holding that wow factor when present. It would have been easy to go over the top with these creative decisions, but the way it was done was masterful.
When the Action hits it's ferocious and unrelenting but nothing short of jawdropping. The editing of the film by Louise Ford finds a phenomenal balance of action, character development and educated Norse mythology. The pacing flys by in its 137 minute runtime. Seriously, Robert Eggers is the best we've ever seen him crafting every technical Direction of the film on a elite masterclass level.
I have a standout but first it must be said the cast overall is flawless with a weak performance nowhere to be found. Everyone was brilliant from the phenomenal Ethan Hawke, the great Nicole Kidman, and the enchanting Anya Taylor-Joy. That being said ALEXANDER SKARSGÅRD IS AN ABSOLUTE BEAST IN THIS MOVIE !!! He becomes an incarnation of a vicious Werewolf in a rampage of Vengence !!! The absolute best we've ever seen him !!!
Finally, this movie was so F***ing badass, it's a reminder why I fell in love with movies and a powerful consistent reminder that Robert Eggers is truly one of the best and most captivating visonary filmmakers of our time!! God ! I absolutely love this F***ing film and was entranced with heart eyes from beginning to end.

After their brilliantly weird film SWISS ARMY MAN, Director's Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert return with EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE!! First off, this is the most absolute bonkers film I've ever seen in my life !! I can't compare it to anything because this hilarious mayhem is incomparable and all originally its own. High octane fight sequences, though silly, are actually executed flawlessly. Both of the Daniels wacky unique visons had me saying multiple times, with a huge smile, "Holy Sh** !" . Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu are the Trinity of standouts of the film !! They are laugh out loud funny together, have fantastic real family chemistry, and when the emotional heart hitting moments come they all hit their mark outstandingly. For Stephanie Hsu, this is a breakout performance and you just know it when you see a star is born on screen. The film editing is the real jewel of this film. This may be my first film of the year I can see getting a Oscar Nomination for Best Editing because it's Perfection. Also, other Oscar Nominations I could see going to the incredible elite level of costume design and a Astonishing Original Screenplay. The wardrobe designs did a remarkable job highly elevating tones of scenes and a fantastic contribute to the anarchy. Finally, the story of the film is wholly original and filled with alot of detail that requires you to understand all the Multiverse mayhem going on around you. The Daniels ingeniously crafted a phenomenal easily understood structured script that doesn't make you feel lost or left behind in all the chaos. Finally, I fell absolutely in love with this film and that love just continued to grow every single second in the entire 139 minute runtime. The story, the characters, the cinematography, the action, the emotions, the costume design, the fight choreography EVERYTHING !! Just truly Masterful filmmaking by the Daniels !! Overall, EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE is a shotgun blast for the mind that delivers the most craziest and most outrageously entertaining F***ing film you'll ever see guaranteed!!! The Daniels may have their MASTERPIECE!!

Matt Reeves, director of many distinguished films; such as CLOVERFIELD, LET ME IN, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, brings us his dark cinematic vison of one of the most legendary Comic-Book characters of all time with THE BATMAN!!!
First off, the cinematography is stunning, by Greig Fraser. He proves undoubtedly that he is among the elite of cinematographers working in film today !! The chilling imagery he captures is not only is this his best work to date but it just may be the most profound cinematography I've ever seen in a Comic-Book film. So dam good we may see it as a Oscar contender for Cinematography in 2023 !!
Michael Giacchino's music score is outstanding and does an extraordinary job in elevating the intensity of scenes throughout the film. From tone, to individual characters, to action pieces, heavy emotional moments etc. Giacchino brilliantly blends a composing voice into everything that requires no words just goosebumps at all it's grand epicness !!
Quickly to add on the subject of sound for the film. The Sound design was Top notch overall but was especially excellent in execution on the batmobile. It was so dam good it gave a monster horror element to the car that it's bone chilling ! Just hearing the engine fire up sends goosebumps to your soul !!!
Next, is the BAT SUIT !! This is my favorite live-action Bat Suit without doubt. The commanding presence of the suit felt like a character itself because visually it had so much to say. The realistic craftsmanship in the design, the batarang connected into the chest piece, the grappling hook ejecting from the gauntlet into his hand, an actual quick assembling flightsuit and just overall how naturally combative it performed instead of looking obviously slow & stiff like many suits before. So much careful detail and love was put into this suit. It's a perfect balance between honoring the roots of the Batman Comic-Book character and making it seem as if this suit could actually exist in the real world. Also, the cowl exposing the jaw line was such a brilliant touch in allowing Pattinson to express so much emotion through what we can see of his face, nicely done Bravo 👏. Seriously, I could talk about my love for this suit all day.
Zoe kravitz brings a ferocious beauty to the Selina Kyle character and the chemistry with Pattinson shows their ion for one another instantly. Jeffery Wright as James Gordon is once again just great casting as this may be a new favorite duo of Gordon and the batman. It effortlessly makes you feel the bond of trust between the two characters and also the inspiration gordon gives in being just a good man. Andy Serkis was always a really cool casting from the start as Alfred given the relationship between him and Reeves. He was the only character I felt needed more screen time with but with that said he's undoubtedly great in the scenes he has. Collin Ferrell as the Penguin gives an incredible transformative performance. If I didn't have previous knowledge there is no way in hell I would have guessed that was Collin Ferrell Bravo to the special effect make-up department for the flawless work and Ferrell ! He brings a scary commanding order to the character like a Al Capone but also surprisingly a very humorous side to the Penguin like a Tony Soprano. He was so damn fun to watch. What I do love overall about all these characters is Matt Reeves doesn't overload or rush their character development leaving you with enough on screen but keeping room for growth in the future that it leaves you both excited and wanting more.
At the very top of my most exciting castings for the film tied right there with Pattinson was the incredible Paul Dano !! The Riddlers appearance is radically different being inspired by the real life Zodiac Killer which for me personally, I found brilliant. Like Batman himself Riddler is in the early years and stages of his villainous rise. The performance Paul Dano executes on screen is nothing short of phenomenal being the dark reflection of Batman in seeking Justice. He's unsettling, chilling, brilliant, and just down right terrifying !! You could see in every second the careful studying and effort Dano had done on how a real life serial killer would behave, move, and speak; delivering genius realism that puts him into the top tier of the best Comic-Book movie performances of All-Time.
Delivering amazing performances in films like THE ROVER, GOOD TIMES, HIGH LIFE, DEVIL ALL THE TIME, TENET and THE LIGHTHOUSE I was in a small group of people excited to see Robert Pattinson play the New Dark Knight. I thought from day 1 it was brilliant casting because Pattinson body of work had crafted himself into one of the best working actors today and was long out of the Twlight shadow from 15 years ago. With a smile of happiness, I'm so proud to say Pattinson absolutely delivers every second he's on the screen. He brilliantly performs Bruce Wayne and Batman as somthing that's completely his own. Many times in the comics we've seen the quote "Bruce Wayne died that night in the alley with his parents" Pattinson captures that sentiment completely he not only seems unhinged & mentally disturbed but he feels so completely soulless that's it's unsettling. We follow a Bruce that is physiologically damaged and still maturing into The Batman that later becomes that symbol of hope. The incredible talent to say so much just from the eyes & body manner Robert Pattinson is so astounding in this film as The Batman. So much that after 30 years of Michael Keaton holding the mantle Pattinson is now my #1 favorite incarnation of the Legendary Comic-Book character.
Finally, Director Matt Reeves pours his heart and soul into this film, you feel it in every frame down to the smallest detail. Like Nolan and Burton before him Matt Reeves achives in every technical aspect in truly making THE BATMAN feel like his own unique vison. He intelligently delivers a physiological thriller fused with a awesome detective noir film and crafts a cinematic love letter to The Batman character all at the same time. His design and creation of Gotham looks like something out of a nightmare but faithfully has never looked better as it looks like something ripped right off the comic pages. He finds a perfect balance of action, character development and world building that effortlessly flies by in its 3 hour runtime. The movie remarkably accomplishes in shining bright the detective skills of Batman something I've wanted for so long in a Batman film. Reeves also delivers a film that can truly stand on it's own with no rushing for a franchise just focus on this one film but also leaves so many exciting doors open to where the next chapter could go next for THE BATMAN.
Overall, THE BATMAN is a magnificent achievement by Director Matt Reeves, with Stunning cinematography, badass fight choreography, great editing, phenomenal acting performances, gorgeous set pieces, epic action, thunderous sound design, iconic music score, fantastic world building and one of the greatest most faithful Comic-Book films to grace the Cinematic Screen !!

At the end of every year I have my Top 10 Worst Film's of the year and TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2022) is the 1st Entry of the 2022 year. Nonsensical and soulless filmmaking that just vomits senseless gore on screen that achieves nothing but wasted time.

Jenny Slate and Charlie Day are a uproarious explosion, as they deliver one of the best romantic comedys I've seen in years. I WANT YOU BACK sets up as the same romantic comedy cliche you've seen before but the meat & bones of the film is executed with charming originality and real emotion that has weight. I was prepared to have an OK time with this film with a couple of laughs but I was surprisingly blown away and very happy to how much I really enjoyed this movie !! Also, my top favorite ending scene ever in a romantic comedy, it was just absolute perfection. Director Jason Orley's I WANT YOU BACK is a dynamite blast of laughs & heart and the perfect Valentines Day Film that I highly recommend.

Masterfully shot, entertaining, great costume designs, stunning set pieces, phenomenal practical horror effects, powerful score, and all is crafted together beautifully by Director Francis Ford Coppola. That said this film is all Gary Oldman as Dracula !!! At times frightening and unsettling but at the same time you feel the tragic love story that bleeds out in his phenomenal performance, True Masterclass Acting on display by Gary Oldman. The flaws of the film are casting choices for some of the ing characters but nothing dooming for the film, just weak points. Overall, Francis Ford Coppola BRAM STOCKER'S DRACULA though not a perfect adaptation of the book it still remains as the very best and my favorite adaption of Dracula ever put to screen 🤘🎞📽🎬🍿

Master class filmmaking from the Legend; that is Director Steven Spielberg, who crafts one of the best and most horrifyingly real war film ever made in cinema. The opening scene on Omaha Beach, the terror inducing sound design, bloody special effects, cinematography, combat choreography and brilliant camera work chillingly takes hold of you making you feel like you're actually there. Genius but yet terrifying filmmaking at mastery level. The tragic imagery of war is captured so hauntingly and so unsettling that I felt chills go down spine at all it's horror. The acting from the tremendous lead performance of Tom Hanks down to the smallest ing role was absolutely magnificent. Not a single person delivered a weak performance, not a single one. This film is a Masterpiece! But the thing is, even though I think every person should see this film once, I also say that with somewhat of a warning, because this film is heartbreaking. It's a film that multiple times throughout it, it almost became too hard to endure. Never has a war film been so brilliantly impactful in execution and left me terror stricken like Steven Spielberg's SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.

One of the most brilliant revenge movies I've ever seen; with a dark poetic look at the true nature of how revenge breaks someone's humanity. The film brilliantly makes you question the true meaning of the word "Evil" as you see vengeance craft the main character into a monster. The action is intense, the atmosphere of the film is chilling and when the violence hits in this game of cat & mouse- it's brutal ! Lee Byung-hun and Choi Min-sik are nothing short of incredible as both of them deliver magnificent performances in their vicious Showdown with one another. Overall, I SAW THE DEVIL is a brutal and well crafted with two captivating performances by the main leads in a phenomenal film i guarantee you won't soon forget !! 🤘🍿📽🎬🎭🎞.

The visual technical mastery of Director Wes Anderson is on full display in every second of the French Dispatch. This film boasts one of the finest cast to ever be assembled. Even though some events in the film are dark, the exquisite cinematography stuns, being nothing short of heartwarming to the eyes. Though I have THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL still as Anderson's Masterpiece THE FRENCH DISPATCH is still a wonderful and incredible cinematic gift ranked at the top of his excellent filmography.

Damn this movie was a F***ing Blast!! Director Rhian Johnson tackles the challenging concept of time travel, with a very polished script that is both uniquely intelligent and emotionally layered. The story requires alot of dots to be connected to understand this world and how it works but it's delivered smoothly to the viewers so that you never feel lost or left behind. Great action and some of the best balanced sci-fi world building I've seen since DISTRICT 9. The cast all around is very solid and the best I've seen Bruce Willis in a long time. Overall, Rhian Johnson's LOOPER is one of the best and most creative, fun B Level Sci-Fi film's of the last decade.

Executed to the level of embarrassment that made you painfully cringe at all the disastrous and unfunny things this film pathetically had to offer.

Wow alot of Heart was crafted into this and you really felt the transformative magic from the opening minutes that you were back in the Harry Potter world !!! Emotional in really showing the incredible impact these films have had still even 20 years later. Seriously, this 20th year anniversary reunion and seeing all these actors I myself felt like I was saying hello again to long lost friends. 🥺❤🤘🎞🎭🎬📽🍿 Overall, HARRY POTTER 20TH ANNIVERSARY: RETURN TO HOGWARTS is a near perfect reunion that cast a emotional and heartwarming spell that will have all potterheads saying.........Always.

Wow !! A remarkable debut by Director Michael Sarnoski, and a magnificent striking performance by Nicolas Cage. This film goes beyond just a man trying to rescue his kidnapped pig. It's an emotional telling of life and the things that hold true meaning, instead of the empty things that a derived society values. Seriously, I was absolutely floored by the power hit of this film. Truly an unforgettable, and one of best films of the year. Again, I really hope the Academy recognizes the phenomenal performance by Nicolas Cage; because this may be his best ever. Overall, Michael Sarnoski's PIG 🐖 is an riveting unexpected treasure and the must-see film of the year.

Academy Award winning Director Guillermo Del Toro returns with his New Film NIGHTMARE ALLEY!! Del Toro who is one of my favorite filmmakers (not just working today but of All-Time) brings with his return one of the best assembled casts ever. Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Ron Perlman, Holt McCallany and David Strathairn 🤯🤯🤯 Holy Sh** !!!

Del Toro brings his most terrifying monsters yet into this movie, and that is........Humans. A story that's crafted with precision and detail in the horrors of what monstrous advantages humans can take on anothers emotional broken mind. An engaging slow burn, peeling back of the curtain that delivers one of the best Final acts Del Toros has ever done with a final scene of dialogue that gave me chills.

I really cherished the music score and the transforming feeling it had in letting you know you're in Guillermo del Toros Movie world. The set pieces are not just great in period accuracy but blooms in the dark beauty of that time. Bradley Cooper is the best I've ever seen him and this maybe the best performance of his career. Overall the cast are tremendous but definitely one performance that stands above all is Cate Blanchett!! With her sinister beauty she devours the movie screen with her phenomenal performance. It's So hard to pick her career best performance because she delivers so many. F***ing great everytime !! Overall, Guillermo Del Toro's NIGHTMARE ALLEY isn't ranked in the top tier of Del Tors phenomenal filmography but I can say undoubtedly it's definitely in the category of his best.

One of the best Westerns I've seen in recent years. Small budget films like this are something I always cherish and ire as it really shines the incredible artistic vison and talent of the Director. The story is engaging and the editing is very good with well balanced pacing. The music score is wonderful perfectly matching the life and tone of the film. The dialogue and accents in film are realistic in delivery matching the time period perfectly. Tim Drake Nelson delivers a awesome lead performance as the calming mysterious badass farmer Henry and Stephen Dorff brings a chilling menacing presents everytime he's on screen. I was pleasantly surprised by this film and had a absolute blast with it. Overall, Director Potsy Ponciroli OLD HENRY is a well polished Western that brings a stunning performance by Tim Drake Nelson and hits you with one of the most badass ending twist of the year.

Not only the best of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; but NO WAY HOME is one of the best live-action Spider-Man Films to ever be put on screen !! Director Jon Watts intelligently crafts ALOT of moving parts with epic action pieces and great humor. He successfully delivers the most heavy emotional Spider-Man film to date. Tom Holland is exceptional and the best we've ever seen him !! I know this sounds cheesey, and maybe a little weird; but I really feel this film was triumphant in finally making me feel that Tom Holland was no longer "Iron-Man Jr", and had me praising his growth in the character to saying "Now That's !! F***ing SPIDER-MAN!!!". In absolute prime form, as Peter Parker, Holland really beautifully captures both everything great and emotionally tragic in, not only what it is to be a SPIDER-MAN, but what it is to be great human being. The return of all the classic on-screen villains, of the last 20 years, of Spider-Man films was nothing short of heartwarming and epic. I got goosebumps seeing the return of Alfred Molina, as Otto Octavius, who was absolutely Spectacular; but.......WILLEM F***ING DAFOE STEALS THE SHOW !! Jesus !! He is ruthless, terrifying, brutal and it literally felt like he stepped right off the set from 20 years ago; because, he was flawless !! Blew me away!! I didn't think the 2002 performance could get any better but Willem Dafoe's performance in this movie had my jaw on the floor !! 🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱 Now as a WARNING and a somewhat flaw, I will say this film is definitely the pure definition of Fan service for fans of the Live Action Spider-Man Films. To understand previous events mentioned and references throughout you will have to have Watched all the previous Live-Action Spider-Man films, the good and the bad. Otherwise, as a fresh viewer you will be completely lost. 😅 Overall, Jon Watts' SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME is one of the best, most exhilarating cinema experiences I've had with a Comic-Book Movie since AVENGERS:ENDGAME and a real special gift of a film to Comic-Book fans !

Returning to the origins of the massively popular RESIDENT EVIL franchise, fan and filmmaker Johannes Roberts brings the games to life for a whole new generation of fans, me being a hardcore one. Combining the first and second resident evil games story & characters together was already a flaw for the film. It didn't give the story enough time to breath which felt like they leap frogged over great story elements that could have been beneficial ground work to focus on building up certain characters in the film. It felt over crowded at times and rushed for any character in the film to have any real development. Another flaw being some of the Casting choices. Especially for Leon S. Kennedy, Avan Jogia not only looked absolutely nothing like the character but they didn't even try to make him look like the character at all ! Also, the writing for Leon made him out to be such a whimp who was always relying on someone else to save him in the film. Sorry but Leon was one my favorite beloved top characters from the games and he was just adapted horribly in this unfortunately. Next, being the dialogue of the film. It felt like it was written by a teenager with relentless thrown in F Bombs ever other word that make you cringe that these were the final dialogue lines approved in post. Now some of my positive of the film was that I really liked the mixture of practical and cgi effects throughout. Even though it's not the best CGI in the world at times 😅 I did respect that they were trying to be more Honorable to the roots of the game as far as creature designs and zombie horror effects. To add to that I also really enjoyed some of the horror elements at the beginning that followed a little into the middle act which felt creative and chilling. I really wish they would have kept that tone the entire film. Unfortunately unless your a fan of the game I don't think this is a horror film anyone will be running out to see. Even though there is so much potential in the film the main thing that kills it is consistent execution. Everytime I felt like the film was starting to find itself it would stubble until it was too late and the credits were rolling. It definitely wasn't the worst film of the year and though nothing monumental I can say there is little fun to be had for fans of the game but that's it. Overall, RESIDENT EVIL WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY may be the best adaptation of the video game we've seen yet but unfortunately fails in everything else to be a good movie.

Director Ben Wheatley assembles a tremendous cast and brilliantly crafts the underrated treasure film of 2016. FREE FIRE keeps you relentlessly entertained from beginning to end and feels like a beautiful loveletter to Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs. The dirty comedic dialogue, the violent action, the great acting performances, the smooth editing and unique camera work are all excellent in execution together. Ben Wheatley FREE FIRE is hilarious ultra violent blast of a film and a 2016 fun favorite of mine that I absolutely adore !!

Written & Directed by Kenneth Branagh BELFAST follows the life of a working class family and their young son's childhood ,during the tormoil of the late 1960s, in the Northern Ireland capital. First off, the film is shot in black & white but Director Kenneth Branagh does a wonderful job making the atmosphere of the film feel colorful in its joyful moments and extra grim in its dark moments. Branagh does a excellent job in capturing the horrors of religious division and the beautiful power of family. Jude Hill at just 11 years old (9 years old when he got the role) delivers a extraordinary performance and takes on the challenge of being the heart of the film effortlessly. The rest of the cast is absolutely wonderful but the scenes with Judi Dench & Ciarán Hinds are gold and so delightful to watch. The cinematography is marvelous and shot in a way that it's hard to not be pulled right in. Also, I really loved the THOR Easter egg wink from Kenneth Branagh.😉🔨 Overall, BELFAST is a superb personal heartfelt film from Director Kenneth Branagh that is no doubt one of 2021's absolute best films.

After 15 years of playing the iconic character; Daniel Craig returns for his 5th and final time, as 007 James Bond, in Cary Joji Fukunaga's NO TIME TO DIE !!! One of the really rad things I absolutely adored about this film was bringing back the heavy use of the spy gadgets. It was really awesome how this was executed by Bond and even the villains, bringing back that old-school; but yet current feel, that made the old spy thriller films so much fun !! Just like previous Craig "Bond" films the entire movie looks stunning. The natural on location landscapes were just jawdropping and were captured beautifully by Cinematographer Linus Sandgren. The stunts are exhilarating and the action is top notch!! Only small flaw I had with the movie characters was Rami Malek as the villain Safin. I know he was supposed to be this dark reflection of James Bond but he never really felt like that at all, unfortunately. His performance was fine but the writing and small screen time for the character felt incomplete. That said, the rest of the ing cast all around are excellent bringing back old faces from the previous Daniel Craig "Bond" films and even introducing exciting new ones that naturally fit right in. One of the greatest executed things about the film was the actual overall threat at hand. Even though the villain was weak the stakes are literally never higher and I really felt that as it slowly built throughout the film revealing what it actually was. Not only is it terrifying but in a dark way it's actually a genius weapon that immediately implys why you don't want this in the wrong hands and why this has to be stopped. Lastly, Daniel Craig within minutes on screen instantly reminds you why he is the best James Bond of All-Time. Craig in top form as 007 in his final outing hitting the emotional moments, the charming Bond moments, the comedic moments, the real human moments and of course the epic badass moments flawlessly. It brought tears to my eyes to see such a incredible run finished so tremendously. Overall, NO TIME TO DIE is a beautiful sensational conclusion to Daniel Craig's legendary run as James Bond. Thank you Daniel Craig for this incredible 15 year Journey 🙏🏻 🤘🎞🍿📽🎬

Master level filmmaking, flawless screenplay by Robert Towne's, Gorgouse photography of 1930s L.A., incredible music score by Jerry Goldsmith, structured brilliantly with not a second wasted and one of the greatest detective noir films ever made!! Jack Nicholson magnificent performance is in the Top 3 of the legendary actors career and Faye Dunaway is glorious. There is no need open a file on the film because the case has already been solved CHINATOWN is a MASTERPIECE!!!

Coming off a movie I enjoyed very much in GOOD TIMES starring Robert Pattinson the Safdie Brother's bring a intense crime thriller UNCUT GEMS starring AdamSandlerat the lead. When I first heard Adam Sandler would lead a crime thriller I thought it was a odd choice given his rough track record in recent years, but dam I was wrong Adam Sandler was very good. Sandler goes outside his comfort zone and his performance as a addicted gambler makes you feel like your right in his shoes during all the stressful situations, to the point my anxiety was out of control 😬😬🤣😂. The outstanding highlight was the editing, it was very well done and I never found myself bored. When the film is supposed to hit the big moments it was done so well in execution I caught myself gripping my chair. Especially the last 15 minutes I was stressed the hell out! 😂🤣 I don't think this movie will be in my Top 10 for the year but its definitely one of my top pleasant surprises and I feel my money was dam well spent on the film. Overall, Uncut Gems is a great crime thriller that feels authentic and a very good performance delivered by Adam Sandler that'll have you on the edge of your seat.
