Wow! Wow, wow, wow. Totally not what I was expecting this to be. It's got the usual awkward absurdity of the other Nathan for You episodes while perfectly fitting in some of the deepest and most thought provoking scenes I've seen on screen this year. There is such an astounding amount of things to analyze about Bill, his personality, thoughts, feelings, and motivations, his past, and his reactions…

That was one "killer" Irish dance.

A superior blend of action and horror that can make a movie surprisingly scary and loads of fun at the same time. Soundtrack was essentially outwardly and I shall see you on the oscar stage for that, sir. #52 of 52 - Watch a comedy film featured on ‘Edgar Wright’s 1,000 Favorite Movies’

It's been a hot second since I watched a movie straight through and was completely entertained. Scorsese might not be the shining director because of his visuals or cinematography but he can make a damn good story and find the best actors to lead the way (hint: it's really always just Robert De Niro).

Mission: Impossible III

★★★½ Rewatched

A little edit-heavy for much of the film but I won't complain much when you have Philip freaking Seymour Hoffman as your villain. It's pretty close but I'd say this is the best in the franchise so far. With the first M:I feeling a bit dated, this installment brings a new energy and a complete emotional 180 to Ethan Hunt. The same treason/espionage plot from the first one makes a comeback here and it delivers once again. I had a great time, count me in for Ghost Protocol.

The morals might not be there but how is this not like the sweetest movie ever? Watching Julia Roberts' ear-to-ear smile over Richard Gere while she's taking a bath is simply the best dose of serotonin.
