It’s a fine balancing act… Jealousy is obviously a unwanted and destructive personality trait, yet this film manages to stay firmly in the gray zone, treating it’s characters with warmth and care despite their flaws. Oh and it’s funny too.

Has obvious and important academic value, but goddamn it’s bad. Horrible editing, boring stock footage from other films and a bad soundtrack. It’s too bad, because the material is a rarely talked about, yet essential, part of american history.

A dark, surreal, lynchian waking nightmare analyzing the twisted, torn psyche of a father wrestling with his broken mind, while trying to create a nice vacation for his innocent family.

A bewildering experience watching events, that I followed closely 8 years ago, unfold before my eyes. The humor, the characters, everything is as it was as if nothing ever changed. I married and had two kids, yet everything is still the same somehow. I’m not sure how good this film really is, but they seem to be doing a lot with a shoestring budget. And finally… I get to log a film on this stupid app featuring Mr. Cool himself.
