Another recommendation from multiple friends. Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s heralded film is awash in hypnotic dread and procedural tension, while being devoid of most typical horror conventions. Cure uses sound and silence to lure its viewer into a bloodily terrifying little slice of macabre filmmaking.
