part recovered-memory/part praise dance. subtle and beautiful to watch but perhaps not much else by way of depth. but what is the more that I am looking for? is there something else I’m wanting rather than just referential movements? there is something in the whispers of mirrored gestures paired with my own knowledge and the clips we see layered in and repeating that feels familiar and perhaps comforting. like trying to a song or noticing when I am using my hands similar to how my mom uses hers.
