maghan’s review published on Letterboxd:
got out of the rain to sit and watch this solo in the middle of the day and it was raining harder when I got out of the theater. the first half or so felt like something I’ve maybe never seen before, the collage of different images / documentaries / clips, accumulating and rubbing up against each other for such a duration. I felt a little jarred when things became more still, I guess linear. but not in a bad way. I couldn’t tell what I was taking in during the film then found by the end I was emotionally swept up watching Qiao Qiao the wave of runners.
my first from this director— would love to see this again with someone and debrief together
