The Cuckoo an original channel five mini series…. I’m seemingly drawn to these types of shows at the moment…. 

Jill Halfpenny one of the best British actresses of our time plays Sian a potential lodger to Jessica and Nick, who have a large run down country home and an empty room to rent…… Jessica and Nick also have a 14 year old daughter Alice, who becomes of great interest to Sian….. 

The setting is great, isolated and Erie really setting…

Watching this at the cinema tonight was definitely enjoyable and worth while….I loved the Idea of Abigail being the daughter to the legendary Dracula. It had me feeling Evil dead rise vibe because of the amount of blood and gore with the fight for survival….some good cinematography throughout and special effects the portrayal of being vampires was done realistic as it would be possible. There was some funny dialogue along the way….for some strange reason I was rooting for Abigail…

There is nothing that I don’t love about this movie….Action movies are not on the top of my favourite genres but this goes against all the rules…. Without doubt the best Liam Neeson film yet and I don’t think you can beat it…. It literally does not stop all the way through.
