I don't usually do these Showdowns anymore but this one is too good to up. Here are my ten favorite film scores...at least that I can think of.

Honorable mentions to Vertigo, North by Northwest (basically anything by Bernard Herrmann), Big Trouble in Little China, It Follows, Demons, There Will Be Blood, Planet of the Apes, Scanners, Back to the Future, Blade Runner, Phantasm, Rushmore, El Norte, all the Harry Manfredini Friday the 13th scores...others I'm probably forgetting...

I don't know if Phantom of the Paradise counts -- since it's more of a soundtrack -- but that would surely have to be included, too.
