As someone who going into this was indifferent towards spiders, this affected me on a level so significant I have to re-evaluate Spiderverse being my favorite movie. Fuck spiders and their spider agenda.

This was clearly written, or at least heavily influenced by Chat GPT. Every horror movie cliche that’s ever existed compiled into one movie. The most frustrating watch I’ve had in a long time because I wanted to like this.

My only thoughts are these kids and their damn phones  and that maybe dating apps aren’t the solution.

It’s a crime there’s people that won’t get to experience this movie in its intended format on 70MM because it definitely changes the experience. In standard format this is realistically a 4 star movie, but the experience you get in its intended format cannot be overlooked. It’s a night and day difference and completely changes the experience.

I liked the quick time events but this was way too reliant on jump scares (none of which really landed) and the characters were very unlikeable. Loses itself trying to make them like-able and establish drama between them.

I ed this movie being significantly funnier.

The comedy in this aged horribly, the acting is atrocious and seems purposefully bad at times.

this is basically strange darling if Kyle Gallner was actually the serial killer

Could’ve been a better documentary. Thought it had good elements but a lot of the dramatized shots and cuts they did to try and make an already dark and terrible disaster seem even more evil somehow made it less intense.  

Would’ve liked to see a little more about the weather advocates point of views, warnings and even outlooks. Perhaps even some storm chaser perspective as well. 

Not bad by any means though, just a little underwhelming.

If you feel it… it’s probably just the wind or something idk?

Is it accurate or logical in the slightest? No. Is it incredibly fun and does it have some accurate dialogue that would make weather fanatics and storm chasers giddy? Absolutely. I can’t believe I didn’t see this in theaters. So fun, Daisy Edgar Jones and Glenn Powell play these roles perfectly, and I absolutely loved the El Reño shout with that being the setting for the final big Tornado.

So cheesy but so entertaining.

I was not expecting a creature feature horror movie oh my god this worked for me on so many levels I love this movie.

Edit: I’m dropping this to a 4.5 because of theater bias. Potentially a 5 on a rewatch

The Chappell Roan needle drop put it at a 5 and it never lost it. 

Will be watching again.
