I turn 29 at the end of the week (December 4th), & for the next year, this film is gonna be playing every day as I get ready for my youth to end once I turn 30.

Maybe I'll also be inspired to actually finish and make something creative after one of my many rewatches🤔

For now, it's time to rewatch Rent!

From now on, I'm taking my dating advice from Mr. Ditkovitch:

Because why were there multiple scenes of Janiyah screaming about getting the officer who threatened her away, and they don't think to start searching for him until the FBI almost show up?

I think Taraji is carrying this entire film on her back, and she does a great job, but the writing and directing just do her…

Watching this film gave me lots of vibes from all types of films from all different decades (some of which were probably inspirations for this movie, and others that were likely inspired by this movie)!

Following a doctor who is trying to give his facially disfigured daughter a new face by kidnapping and killing other young women with similar features, Eyes Without a Face seems to be the Ed Gein of cinema. What I mean by that is Ed Gein…
