The sequel to one of the greatest Spider-Man movies ever raises the stakes and expands the story by several orders of magnitude. The movie does a fantastic job of truly examining this character and asking the question "WHO IS SPIDER-MAN?" The characterization and development is really well-written and the big twist is so good. Alien: Romulus takes the franchise back to its roots: the kind of terror that makes your blood run cold, Weyland-Yutani mercilessly sacrificing employees so they can get their hands on the Xenomorphs, and the hubris of man thinking it can control such an astonishingly destructive, murderous, and resilient creature.
