There is no doubt in my mind this is the best piece of cinema made in the modern era, and I have a hard time seeing anything ing it for me personally.
It's the most meticulously crafted, sophisticated and tender film I've ever seen.

It's mind-blowing that Paul Thomas Anderson not only wrote and directed this, he was also the cinematographer, and the result is some of the most beautiful shots in all of cinema.

This is such a complex subject and a very difficult to handle in nuanced and fair way, but I think Vinterberg nailed it.

The dangers of mob mentality and witch hunting is shown on full display, and the importance of innocent until proven guilty, even if you of course have to take the allogations seriously. The leading questions they asked the children really made my skin crawl.
