There is no doubt in my mind this is the best piece of cinema made in the modern era, and I have a hard time seeing anything ing it for me personally.
It's the most meticulously crafted, sophisticated and tender film I've ever seen.

It's mind-blowing that Paul Thomas Anderson not only wrote and directed this, he was also the cinematographer, and the result is some of the most beautiful shots in all of cinema.
The screenplay is also phenomenal…

This is a level of meta I barely thought was possible. We're watching a movie about Kaufman struggling to write the movie we're watching, unfolding like he(and his fictional brother) wrote the movie.
Not only a genius take on self-doubt, the creative process and change, but it's also hilarious through-out.

An MCU movie with actual DEPTH and THEMES?? I thought I'd never see it again. It's been so long since we got a project that actually works as a contained story and not just a vessel to the next project, it's very refreshing.
