AKA Incident in a Ghostland
This a nasty film with lazy contrived writing about a home invasion on a mother and her two daughters. It also has misogynistic and transphobic connotations, but I don't know if that was intentional.
That was one hell of a good time. A stylish satire with body horror and gallons of blood. It also has some really funny moments which I was not expecting. Very original and not something I will ever forget.
Coralie Fargeat is becoming one of my favourite directors after this and Revenge.
A well filmed crime thriller about a meticulous assassin who messes up a job. I found it very engaging right from the start and kept my interest to the end. It didn't have any wow factor to give it a higher rating, but definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys the genre.
