sally hawkins is such a brilliant actress. I haven’t felt this strong about a performance since mia goth in pearl & toni collette in hereditary.

So sick, so twisted, so brutal, and also so heart breaking
Bring Her Back fucked me up pretty good
Sally Hawkins should get an Oscar nom. She gave an absolutely insane performance.
That final shot...omfg that final shot!!
I was a pretty big fan of Talk to Me, but for me BHB slightly sured it! These brothers know what they’re doing!
I wish to extend my humble gratitude towards the unfortunate individual at my screening for waiting until after the completion of this motion picture to blow chunks.
heard the new marvel is crazzyyy
laughed so hard my chest was killing me. paul rudd & tim robinson top duos of all time
Talk to Me wasn’t About much of anything deep but it was gruesome and hip enough to feel like a novelty and fun moment to see the Philippou brothers step onto the scene, I think they would have had to do something more interesting with their next project in a way that just didn’t happen here. It not only feels samey and consequently more empty, but I’m surprised it’s being described as so mean and evil when it has moments…
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
“I love you pipe. grapefruit.” 🥹🫠
not entirely my thing but it did make me want to jump out of my skin a few times, so it elicited the exact response I think Tim Robinson was trying to elicit
did you know baby ochi is puppeteered by SEVEN people and the large ochi are humans in suits with animatronic heads? it's a miracle that isaiah saxon got this film made at all!
Such a pleasant, totally not disturbing movie to start the morning and the week with!
In all seriousness, I dug this. Twisted, eerie stuff that gets more and more under your skin as it progresses, all while juggling themes of grief and trauma in its own very intense ways, with a terrific Sally Hawkins at the helm. The Philippous are two-for-two.
Hearing Tim Robinson say my name repeatedly was deeply unsettling
