sally hawkins is such a brilliant actress. I haven’t felt this strong about a performance since mia goth in pearl & toni collette in hereditary.

Such a pleasant, totally not disturbing movie to start the morning and the week with!

In all seriousness, I dug this. Twisted, eerie stuff that gets more and more under your skin as it progresses, all while juggling themes of grief and trauma in its own very intense ways, with a terrific Sally Hawkins at the helm. The Philippous are two-for-two.

Hearing Tim Robinson say my name repeatedly was deeply unsettling

Loved this and all of its ballsy formal and narrative metacommentary, Spike’s still got it and the middle stretch is one of my favorite things I saw at the fest, however as someone from Boston it was a very hostile viewing experience
