Every choice made here was the wrong one.

Crazy to think how Meryl has one of the best Best Actress wins of all time and... arguably the worst
I literally didn’t like a single thing about this movie lol
Paul Rudd = hot, innocent
The rest of the movie = a war crime
The whole gimmick of being able to “finally see the ghost!” really backfires when they it just looks like shapeless sack of sludge lol.
Also, its so baffling that Blumhouse would randomly introduce another family of boring rich white people we’ve NEVER met before to be the protagonists of the “final” installment of perhaps their most well-known franchise? Why not try to tie back into the plot of Paranormal Activity 4 in some respect? How are we supposed to have any…

“Given that Kevin Bacon secured one of his first major movie roles in 1980’s Friday the 13th, it only makes sense that the much-adored actor would have a bit of a soft spot for the genre that helped kickstart his career. Over the years, he’s starred in creepy classics such as Flatliners, Tremors, and Hollow Man, along with 1999’s Stir of Echoes, which was his first frightful collaboration with You Should Have Left’s writer-director, David Koepp. Unfortunately, You Should Have Left…
Zombie has a LOT on his mind here, and it’s fascinating to see a horror film dive into discussions of trauma and cycles of violence with such reckless abandon (even moreso than H20 and Halloween 2018), but... it never really coalesces into a whole because of how often Zombie lets his worst impulses get in the way. irable ambition, but mainly quite messy, unfortunately.
Brandon Trost’s cinematography and Tyler Bates’ score though >>>
So much of this is uh Not Good™ (including that absolutely ABYSMAL opening scene with Laurie... yikes), but its outrageousness and outlandishness is so oddly entertaining that I can’t rank it as the worst in the franchise. I mean, does Halloween 6 have Busta Rhymes doing Kung Fu against Michael Myers???
I’m just so TIRED (first because of this boring and bland biopic and second because Hollywood continues to stick Rosamund Pike in the most staid and stuffy starring roles possible!!!)
Throughout this entire film, I could not tell if it was actually decent or if I was just drunk
Update: I was just drunk
Though Scoob! starts by sharply setting the stage for a warm and witty welcome to the latest incarnations of these classic characters, this delight quickly dissipates as the film instead shifts its focus to chaotically capitalizing on the “cinematic universe” craze, ignoring what has made this property so iconic for years.
Scoob! launches with a lovely little prologue that first illustrates the initial meeting between stars Shaggy and Scooby before additionally detailing the formation of the legendary Mystery Inc. quintet.…
