Host is short, straight-to-the-point, and simply scary as HELL. While its set-up may remind you of the Unfriended franchise - particularly the original installment - Host hits closer to home with its terrifying timeliness (it’s certainly the first film I’ve seen thus far to correctly capture the chaos of quarantine and prey on those fears so fervently) and its sincere sense of surprise.
